The Good News of Jesus Christ
God Created man in His Image
Genesis 1:26, 27 - Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our
image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the
fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the
cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creeps on the earth." And God created man in His own image,
in the image of God He created him; male and female He created
them.
Through the Sin of Adam all of
mankind have fallen into Sin, we came into the world in Adam's
image bearing a sinful nature
Genesis 5:1-3 - This is the book of the generations of
Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the
likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and He
blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were
created. 3 When Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he
became the father of a son in his own likeness, according
to his image, and named him Seth.
We are all sinners and on our own
are deservedly headed toward spiritual death
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God,
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death.....
God Loves You and provides the only
Way to restore Fellowship with Him
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in
that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus Christ is the only Way
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the
way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father,
but through Me.
John 10:7-11 - Jesus therefore said to them again,
"Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
"All who came before Me are thieves and
robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
"I am the door; if anyone enters through
Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
"The thief comes only to steal, and kill,
and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have
it abundantly. "I am the good
shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
Jesus, fully God, became man and
lived a perfect, sinless life in your place. Jesus
suffered and died on the cross in your place. His death
paid in full the penalty you owe for your sin. Through the
finished work of Jesus Christ your sins are forgiven.
Believe in the free gift of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:1-10 - And you were dead in your trespasses
and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course
of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,
of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh,
indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by
nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich
in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even
when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together
with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up
with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places,
in Christ Jesus, in order that in the ages to come He might show
the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in
Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as
a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
Jesus rose from the dead. His
victory over the grave points to the time when Jesus returns in
His glory, raises us from our graves, and takes us up to heaven
with Him. Forever, we will live with Him in Heaven.
2 Corinthians 4:13-14 - But having the same spirit of
faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I
spoke," we also believe, therefore also we speak; knowing that
He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and
will present us with you.
