Preaching Pastor: Dr. Larry E. Dyer

The primary preaching/teaching of God's Word on a weekly basis will be led by Dr. Larry E. Dyer, Foristell.

Pastor Larry and Donna Dyer Pastor Dyer is the retired Sr. Pastor-Teacher from Chapel of the Lake, Lake St. Louis, where he served from 1985 to 2007. There he was leader of other staff, and was responsible for preaching, teaching, counseling, administration and direction of the elders' pastoral ministry. He conducted a weekly teaching radio program on KSIV, St. Louis. MO and KWRE in Warrenton, MO. (2001-2007). He authored "Baptism: The Believer's First Obedience," Kregel Press, 2000. Eight years ago, in cooperation with Grace Community Chapel of St. Peters, he helped to launch West-Plex Community Church.

He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Brookes Bible Institute.
Over the past decade Pastor Dyer has taught Bible College courses for:

Big Sky Bible Institute in Montana; Week-long modules in Eschatology
Calvary Bible College; Systematic Theology, Dispensationalism, the Book of Acts, the Life of Christ, and Methods of Bible Study.
Brookes Bible Institute: The Book of Daniel and Systematic Theology.

Pastor Dyer received his doctoral degree from Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri in 1994. He holds a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, Texas and received his bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.

Pastor Dyer brings with him to West-Plex, his wife Donna Dyer, and his parents, Bob and Bernice Dyer. His three adult children are all married and the family is blessed with two grandchildren. Donna is a music education teacher in the Wentzville School District, and an accomplished musician who uses her gifts and talents in piano and organ music leadership.

Pastor Dyer has been blessed to have been able to travel and study in the Holy Land on several occasions over his career and includes his travel experiences and insights in sermon deliveries. His hobbies include being a Revolutionary War Re-enactor and a student of Archeology and Ancient History.
